A central feature of the revegetation work at Davidson Street has been the inclusion of a raingarden to slow down and filter stormwater before it enters Enoggera Creek.

At first glance its hard to make out the raingarden as its design features are hidden under the layer of plants it supports. One of its most obvious features is the overflow rock channel (above) that helps slow down and disperse the water in such a way as to minimise erosion.
